I had an amazing June and it went out with a bang, fireworks, literally! I got to photograph Karen and Annunciate's engagement session earlier this year and had been looking forward to their wedding ever since. They have a visual connection, I don't know how to describe it but they fit together like they were made to be in each other's arms. They are inviting and warm and kind and you can tell just by looking at them, so spending time with them just makes you feel lucky. Karen & Annunciate, I had such a wonderful time with you. Your wedding was fantastic and I loved every minute of the day. I am so happy you chose me to help you remember the countless memories you created! Thank you, and thank you to your family and friends who added so much joy.

SHOUT! hollerin' at a home town hero. SEK productions...
I always talk about how lucky I am to work with the couples that I do but I don't often mention how incredible some of the vendors I work with are. I have a friends page on my website with a few of my favorites but I think I should step it up a little. Starting with a few home town heros.
Chris Dinardo, of SEK productions, is a flawless DJ. He keeps every crowd moving, fills the room with energy. He's relentless. I refer these fellas every chance I get because they're good! SEK Productions provides lighting that can completely transform a room. There is a lot of power in the hands of the DJ you choose and the atmosphere in the room. These guys don't disappoint. I like em. Thanks Karen and Annunciate for choosing a room full of awesome pros!

Emily & Jon~ June 2, 2012
I love the people I work with. So often, even at initial meetings, I feel a connection with the brides I sit with and hope that one day we can be BFFs. Sometimes, though much rarer, I wish we were related. That's how it was when I met Emily and her mom. I felt so comfortable with them and was so happy they chose me to photograph the wedding.
June has been the busiest month I've had in years, personally and professionally. I've been running like a chicken, anxious, a little overwhelmed. The wonderful thing is, June was filled with the most calm brides I could imagine. Everyone I worked with was so relaxed and easy and Emily was no exception. Somehow the universe always takes care of me. Thanks Universe! Thanks Emily!
Emily and Jonathan were like, I want to say something like chocolate and peanut butter or cream and sugar, two things that melt together really smoothly with almost no effort. They were breezy, but so strong and so comfortable to be around. Thank you so much Emily and Jon for including me in such a vibrant day. Thank you to your family and friends for making the day so enjoyable.

Beth & Jeff ~ June 8, 2012
I had to start with this. Background...
I babysat these three sweet, beautiful girls, Cynthia, Beth Ann and Raechel when I was 15 years old. I don't know how to explain the impact they had on me and my career. These girls were different, not like other kids. They were smart and strong and innocent and wise and I wanted to find a way to put that onto paper. I decided what I wanted to be when I grew up and got my first real camera at 15 too. These girls helped to form the kind of photographer I would be. What an incredible feeling to photograph the wedding of a girl who helped shape me. And by her side, two women of honor, her sisters who also hold a place of honor in my heart. I love you girls and I thank you for all you did to help me become who I am today.
When I met Beth, she was 6 years old. Poised and self assured, smart and careful, pensive and extraordinary. A woman in a little girl's frame. I wondered then what kind of a woman she would be when she actually was a woman. She is still all of those things and so much more and what an incredibly stunning bride.
The wedding day was perfect. Beth and Jeff were calm and certain. The bridal party was fun and easy and supportive. The feeling was right, everything was exactly the way it should have been. No hiccups or second glances. Just together. Jeff told me at the end of the night that he wakes up every morning thankful that Beth is in his life. It's that simple. I hope you both wake up that way every day of forever! I had such a wonderful time with you both. Thank you so much for including me. Thank you to your family and friends for coming together to create a magical day that I got to document! Congratulations Beth and Jeff!
